Duties

Help
  • You will serve as the Executive Assistant to the Director, Navy Cryptologic Office.
  • You will review, analyze, and control all NCO executive-level correspondence.
  • You will manage the capture/documentation and submission of mission-essential materials to the Service Cryptologic Component knowledge base.
  • You will devise file structures to facilitate cataloging and retrieving information pertinent to the mission and office administration.
  • You will manage numerous projects and skillfully multi-tasks by weighing the potential relevance of each effort in supporting Service Cryptologic Component objectives.
  • You will use analysis and knowledge of organization, programs, missions, and functions to develop, recommend, and implement strategies, plans, and policies to ensure effective and efficient operations.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG-11 grade level in the Federal Service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as:

1. Plan, coordinate, manage, and conduct day-to-day administrative work for the Executive
Director - Navy Cryptologic Component, Director - Navy Cryptologic Office (NCO), and the
NCO team;

2. Perform analytical and administrative work in supporting members involved in a variety
of professional and administrative functions;

3. Draft correspondence for the Navy Cryptologic Office relating to administrative matters, and/or acts as a
liaison in handling communication with persons and/or groups within and outside of the
department;

4. Manage, arrange, and facilitate various conferences, meetings, committees as
necessary in support of the department;

AND 5. Schedule events; notify participants, arrange for space, travel accommodations, and
ensuring all necessary arrangements/materials are prepared.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
