Help
  • Actively participates in the management of the activity or organization by performing a wide variety of clerical and administrative support duties. Serves as the central point of contact for matters related to day-to-day operations.
  • Applies knowledge of the organization, its functions and regulations to carryout a wide variety of administrative functions related to the organization and its mission (e.g., personnel, accounting, logistics, supply, transportation, security, etc).
  • Exercises independent judgement. Composes operating procedures and sets internal priorities to generate improvements in administrative services.
  • An extensive knowledge of rules, operations, and practices, and judgment in locating and selecting the most appropriate guidelines is required.
  • Performs other duties related to office automation requiring a skill in general office machines, software, and the internet/intranet.

Qualifications

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:

  1. Work experience directly related to the duties described above.
  2. Ability to type 40 words per minute.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":
  1. Possess demonstrated competence with integrating work-flows using tools such as MS Power BI, MS Power AP, and Power Automate (MS Power Platform).
  2. Possess demonstrated competence coordinating with internal operations and external agencies.
  3. Possess demonstrated competence with Microsoft Office and integration with MS Teams and SharePoint.
  4. Possess demonstrated competence with assembling various staffing documents in accordance with AR 25-50.
  5. Possess demonstrated experience with MWR specific Management Information Systems such as RecTrac and Human Resource Information Systems such as EMPReS, AutoNOA, and DCPDS.

Allowances and Differentials
  • This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week - whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM.
  • Foreign overseas allowances, post allowance, and differentials will not be paid.
