  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position has Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Treatment, Storage, and Disposal Facility responsibilities and requires successful completion of training IAW ANAD's RCRA permit.
  • This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a forklift, overhead crane, and/or motor vehicle license capable of carrying loads weighing less than four tons.
  • This position is covered by the civilian drug abuse testing program governed by AR 600-85, The Army Substance Abuse Program.
  • Incumbent is subject to random drug testing. Incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019, Condition of Employment for Certain Civilian Positions Identified as Critical under the Department of the Army Drug Free Federal Workplace Program.
  • This position is subject to the Lautenberg amendment to the gun control act of 1968 which makes it a felony for anyone who has been convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence to ship, transport, possess, or receive firearms or ammunition.
  • Civilian personnel of the Department of the Defense are not exempt from this provision. Therefore, as a condition of employment, selectee will be required to sign a form acknowledging understanding of this provision.
  • Incumbent is required to complete a DA FORM 7708 (Personnel Reliability Screening and Evaluation Form) per Army Regulation (AR) 190-13.
  • This position requires the incumbent to meet the requirements of AMC-R 350-4, Training and Certification Program for Personnel Working in Ammunition Operations and the requirements of DA PAM 385-64, Ammunition and Explosives Safety Standards.
  • Federal Wage System employees, WG/WL/WS etc., must complete and pass a pre-employment and appropriate annual Depot Medical Examination.
  • This position requires the incumbent to meet the requirements of AMC-R 350-4, Training and Certification Program for Personnel Working in Ammunition Operations.
  • This position requires incumbent to have and maintain a valid and current driver’s license.
  • This position requires incumbent to obtain and maintain a government issued Credit Card for TDY travel expenses.
  • This position requires the incumbent to successfully meet and maintain the requirements of the Physical Security of Arms, Ammunitions and Explosives IAW AR 190-11.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Explosives Operator Supervisor without more than normal supervision. Performing duties such as supervision: managing team workload, providing guidance to work crews, and implementing safety procedures. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
