Summary

Analyzes program and mission needs to develop and implement the most competitive and cost-effective contract strategies to support the mission.
Analyzes budget execution status and recommends funding levels for programs and the transfer/reallocation of funds between organizational elements.
Provides advice and guidance to various agency personnel and to Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) and Task Monitors (TMs) to enable them to effectively carry out their duties as task managers.
Responsible for the effective oversight and management of complex contracts, ensuring contractor performance aligns with organizational goals, technical requirements, and contractual obligations.

This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-13, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as:
Provides contract management for Networking and IT Management program, project implementation, and integration efforts for the Combatant Commands, Services, and other Agencies to include source selection, coordinating, reviewing, evaluating and approving all contractual requirements.
