Serves as a Section Chief, acquisition lead, and project manager. The incumbent serves as the focal point providing authoritative advice, operational guidance, and project decision-making.
Provides advanced technical support and guidance to staff in matters relating to information technology (IT) management issues that involve a wide range of IT management.
Develops supplemental technical and procedural documents required for effective guidance, procurement specifications, and contractor proposals with technical personnel for DISA information management systems.
Develops and implements acquisition strategies, program planning, technology infusion, milestone review preparation, and requirements allocation.
Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service.
This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below. Applicants must have IT-related experience demonstrating the following competencies appropriate to, or above, the level of this position. I have anticipated information technology-related problems and have identified and evaluated potential sources of information to generate alternative solutions.
