Serves as HAF A2/6 and 16 Air Force (AFCYBER) Air Force Cryptologic Office (AFCO) ISR-Cyber Cryptologic Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Air Force Service Cryptologic Component Staff Branch Chief.

Duties

Help

-Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Air Force Cryptologic Office ISR-Cyber Branch, ensuring that intelligence tied to cyberspace complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Develops goals and objectives that integrate organization and national-level objectives. Researches, interprets, analyzes and applies Service, joint and national-level policies and directives. Establishes policies and procedures for accomplishment of intelligence in support of cyberspace. Plans and schedules work in a manner that promotes a smooth flow and even distribution. Coordinates plans and schedules with other organization managers and customers as appropriate.

-Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees
regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. Selects or recommends selection of candidates for
vacancies, promotions, details, and reassignments in consideration of skills and qualifications, mission requirements, and EEO and diversity objectives. Develops, modifies, and/or interprets performance standards. Explains performance expectations to employees and provides regular feedback on strengths and weaknesses. Holds employees responsible for satisfactory completion of work assignments.

-Directs, participates and oversee intel support to cyber operations planning, organizing, and determine regulations, directives, and procedures for integration of HAF/A2/6, USCYBERCOM, and 16 AF (AFCYBER) program objectives within the Intelligence Community (IC) ensuring the provisions of personnel and ISR support to cyber operations. Directs, participates, and integrates Air Force cryptologic enterprise and cybersecurity partnerships and technology exchanges with National Security Cybersecurity Directorate in support of national defense objectives. Representation is considered authoritative by other parties in attendance i.e. Cyber Mission Force (CMF) training, Cyberspace Conferences, Cryptologic conferences, etc…Applies ISR technical expertise enabling AF Air Combat Command (ACC) in the development of Air Force and Joint polices and doctrine.

-Represents Air Force Cryptologic Office ISR-Cyber Branch with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with Service, joint and national
offices. Meets with key customer and coordinating officials to assess customer satisfaction, explain organization
policy and procedures, and resolve problems that arise. Provides or ensures that subordinates provide customer
guidance and training. Participates in special projects and initiatives and performs special assignments. Identifies the need for special projects and initiates milestones and goals.

Qualifications

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: Supervisor must use judgment and ingenuity to interpret the intent of theseguides. The supervisor may be required to make major or novel adaptations to existing guides inorder to accomplish the mission. As supervisor within a trailblazing division involving innovation andintelligence support for cyberspace operations, this position is responsible for providing expertise inorder to develop AF strategy for specific ISR programs and projects. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:

1. Knowledge of National, Joint and Service guidance and direction for cyberspace operations to include ISR
operations in support of cyberspace activities; this includes expert knowledge of 16 AF (AFCYBER) components
to include operational missions and of the agency's missions and roles as part of the Intelligence Community.

2. Knowledge of US national intelligence community polices, entities, missions, resources, operations, capabilities, databases, and requirements to perform intelligence programmatic planning, operations and intelligence collection activities.

3. Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures.

4. Skill in analysis and production of reports and other products that are responsive to the specific needs of customer to include formulating, gathering, organizing and analyzing information; resolving conflicts; and presenting clear and concise findings.

5. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of a small to medium sized organization and carry out all phases of personnel management responsibilities. To include skill in establishing and maintaining effective
relationships, building consensus and coalitions, negotiating, and resolving conflicts with a variety of organizations and individuals.

6. Ability to handle multiple tasks; establish and meet suspense in response to internal and external customers. This includes the ability to quickly assimilate disparate data and render knowledgably and accurate assessments of the implications of such data; experience, and recognized professional standing; and to present and argue for a position effectively and the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT CONT'D:

1. Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented
Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special
Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.

2. Drug Testing: This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Testing Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.

3. Polygraph: Incumbent is required to undergo a counter-intelligence polygraph examination and periodic reexaminations. Additionally, incumbent must meet and maintain NSA/CSS security suitability standards as an
inherent primary requirement of their position.

PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
