Technical advisor for conventional, and missile ammunition maintenance, which include preservation and packing, modification, conversion, renovation, reclamation and reutilization.
Review and analyze line layouts with a view toward improving work methods and procedures.
Visit maintenance locations to determine adequacy and use of ammunition peculiar equipment (APE), associated APE kits, ammunition gages, facilities and personnel.
Review, coordinate and provide disposition on ammunition condition reports (ACRs).
Research and prepares statements of work (SOW) and assembles required supporting technical data packages.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
