Duties

Help

  1. Ensures guests receive the highest quality food' orders are prepared and presented properly; and delivered to the guest at the appropriate time and temperature in accordance with AF and franchise standards.
  2. Inspect food orders to ensure that orders are prepared to franchise standards and specifications, including garnishing food with appropriate accompanying items; effectively communicate with staff of all stations, regarding cook times, potential problems, and other issues, in a calm and effective manner; maintains prepared food continuously flowing out of the kitchen; ensure all orders are complete according to tickets; rotates and stocks product as needed; and completes assigned prep work to stock and set up station, breaking down and cleaning station thoroughly daily. For group orders, ensure food is prepared and presented timely for all patrons.
  3. Provides day-to-day advice and guidance to employees for work assignments; relays instructions from the supervisor; sets the work pace based upon number of guest/orders; demonstrates work methods and provides work-related guidance; and ensures that employees follow related foods service, sanitation, security, safety and housekeeping AF and franchise regulations.
  4. Assist with setting up, breaking down, and cleans area when meals are complete. As required, places food and beverages on tables and replenishes items as necessary.
  5. Performs shift change and/or opening or closing duties. Assists other team members as needed or when business needs dictate. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:
  1. Ability to lead three or more workers to accomplish food service assignments.
  2. Must have experience in and knowledge of food preparation principles and characteristics of food.
  3. Must be able to follow simple oral instructions, be able to use hand tools for cleaning, and operate simple machines.
  4. Must have knowledge of sanitation standards in handling and service food.
  5. Must be skilled in doing tasks with several steps, and must use judgment in sequencing tasks.
  6. Must have ability to read, write, and to clearly communicate in English and lift and carry 25 lbs, placing these items above shoulder level. Must be able to continuously stand and walk, and frequently stoop, reach, push, pull and bend for long periods of time.
  7. Must be available to work uncommon/irregular shifts, to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
