United States (U.S.) Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.
Duties may include: Greeting customers; answering telephone and taking/delivering messages; filing; preparing labels, envelopes, or simple forms; operating a copy or fax machine; sorting and stapling documents; or organizing office supplies.
May assist higher-level employees with more detailed tasks.
May perform other closely related duties as assigned.
Under close supervision, performs a variety of simple, routine clerical and office support duties.
Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
A one-year probationary period may be required.
Must be 18 years of age or older at time of appointment or placement into the position.
Parental/Guardian Consent Statement (if under 18 years of age).
May require light physical effort.
Qualifications

CYS Youth Workforce WPP Position is temporary not to exceed 12 weeks from the effective date of employment, and up to 10 guaranteed hours per week.

Located at various CYS Services Facilities within USAG Daegu and
Is funded by the Installation Management Command, G9, Youth Workforce Preparation Program (WPP).
The WPP focuses on Youth career development through a developmental program designed to provide on the job work experience and a training plan that include a website for the participants to maximize the career exploration experience. The website offers an interest survey where participants may learn about different careers that match their current interests and talents. Participants will also have an opportunity to identify additional training or college requirements for the different careers they may have an interest in exploring. Overall, the WPP will provide participants with support and guidance in improving their employability skills.

This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
Foreign overseas allowances, Post Allowance, and differentials will not be paid.
