About the Position: As the Lead Realty Specialist for the Real Estate Projects Acquisition team, responsible for coordinating efficient and effective accomplishment of the real estate planning and execution of major projects in support of the Caribbean District's Realty Planning and Acquisition mission.

Help
  • Serves as a Lead Realty Specialist responsible for communicating Real Estate community of practice roles and responsibilities;
  • - coaching other Realty Specialists; and, coordinating, and facilitating the execution of work by the Real Estate Projects Acquisition team.
  • Performs highly complicated planning and acquisition tasks necessary to provide Real Estate products, such as planning reports and real estate interests required for construction access and maintenance.
  • Manages all funding aspects (plannings, budgeting, procurement, and monitoring) for and assures timely completion of team's realty actions to support management, including work involving project milestones and budgets.
  • Serves as a Technical Advisor on real estate matters.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) coordinating efficient and effective accomplishment of the planning and execution of major products in support of an organization's realty planning and acquisition mission; 2) providing guidance for real estate products prepared for civil and military studies and projects. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. for this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
