The Senior Construction Control Representative will serve as a senior construction representative in the Construction Division providing the Associate Director with a wide range of expertise in architectural, construction, and engineering matters.
In this position, you will:
Conduct studies on architectural/engineering design methods to determine economic and technical feasibility requirements.
Coordination of on-site inspections during construction and determining that all foundations are installed in compliance with contract plans and specification.
Compile information necessary to formulate reports, presentations, or documentation for construction engineering assignments.
Resolve unusual situations including structural, mechanical, electrical, civil and architectural.
Direct a team of representatives assigned to a project from inception through completion.
Requires career/career-conditional status or eligibility.
Males born after 12/31/59 must be registered with Selective Service.

Qualifications
Experience: You qualify for this position if you have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal Service. For this position specialized experience is defined as inspecting and evaluating building systems/components for compliance with plans and specifications; selecting methods and procedures to evaluate building systems/components; providing technical expertise in construction, architectural, and engineering disciplines; coordinating of on-site inspections during construction; and monitoring construction contract costs to ensure that projects remain within budget.
