Duties

Help
  • Serves as a full Deputy to the Director, Family, Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) for a large/mega large garrison by performing a variety of duties in the short and long range planning, coordination, and daily oversight of the Directorate.
  • Integrates plans into appropriated and non-appropriated fund annual operating budgets.
  • Reviews program changes and discusses changes in goals and objectives with activity managers and supervisors ensuring objectives and goals are attainable and economically feasible.
  • Represents the Director in all matters including the coordination of programs and activities within and outside the directorate.
  • Provides technical guidance and administrative oversight through direct and indirect supervision of subordinate supervisors and employees. Exercises the full range of personnel management responsibilities.
  • Responsible for assuming the duties of the director in his/her absence.

  • This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
  • Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
