Duties

Help
  • Issues/receives recreational equipment to authorized users. Collects applicable fees for items issued, accounts for monies collected safeguards funds and makes daily bank deposits.
  • Pre-checks and prepares equipment for customers, explains use, and monitors proper usage. Cleans recreation equipment, supplies and facility area.
  • Conducts surveillance of total facility and reports any unusual findings to supervisor. Monitors inventories and condition of items on hand. Arranges furniture and equipment.
  • Operates equipment, performs self-help maintenance. Prepares work orders and requirement lists for supplies and equipment. Monitors inventories.
  • Works as an assistant for the Facilities Operations Team Leader who makes specific assignments, explains polices and procedures and reviews work for quantity and quality of completed projects. May be required to drive a motor vehicle when needed.

  • Appointment subject to favorable suitability determination
  • Must be willing and able to occasionally operate varying motor vehicles including forklifts, and occasionally tow recreation vehicles.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age per Department of Labor's Federal Age Requirements to perform these occasional functions.
  • Must obtain Forklift Training and Evaluation within 90 days of employment
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.

  • Demonstrated ability to performs the duties described above.
  • Must have and retain a valid drivers license.

PCS Costs
  • Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.

Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials
  • This is a pay-banded position.
  • Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
  • Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
Incentives and Bonuses
  • Incentives will not be paid.
Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances
  • Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
