  • Assign the immediate tasks to be performed by individual subordinates.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Electrician Leader without more than normal supervision. Pass on directions to several employees in accomplishing trades and labor work associated with Electrician work. Perform proper electrician methods, procedures, or techniques. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.

  • Physical Effort: Work requires the incumbent to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, and work in uncomfortable positions. The incumbent frequently lifts, carries, and sets up tools, equipment, and parts that weigh up to 20 pounds occasionally.
  • Working Conditions: Works inside buildings, shops, and outside. Subject to contact with dirt, dust, and grease; shocks and burns from high voltage; cuts and bruises.

Time-limited promotions may be extended up to a maximum of five years. Time-limited reassignments and changes to lower grade may exceed five years, however return rights may be impacted. Position may be made permanent without further competition.
