Duties

Help

As a MISSION SUPPORT ASSISTANT (OA), your typical work assignments may include:

  • Performing administrative support services, to include Records Management, Privacy Act, official mail control, postal management, forms management, correspondence management, reports control, record keeping, etc.
  • Performs a variety of clerical duties to include, prepares and maintains correspondence pertaining to travel, time and attendance, data processing and maintenance, personal property (accountable and non-accountable), supply management, human resource liaison assistance, records management, and TFO management.
  • Assists with managing division fleet services, including vehicles timely maintenance, service, repairs, supplement.
  • Responsible for providing technical assistance for Division's personal property.

Applicants applying for the GS-07 must meet one of the following requirements:

You may qualify at the GS-07 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement: One year of experience (equivalent to at least the GS-06 level or pay band in the Federal service) that includes performing the following duties: 1) Providing administrative support functions to an office related to the operations of various programs, such as administrative, human resource liaison, internal control, logistics, fleet, personal property (accountable and non-accountable), supply management, quality assurance, records management, and Task Force management; 2) Performing a variety of clerical duties related to data processing, travel, equipment and property accountability and maintenance, data processing, fleet management and maintenance, personal property (accountable and non-accountable), supply management, human resource liaison assistance, records management, and Task Force Office management; 3) Assisting in the review and update of office procedures; and, 4) Establishing, filing, and maintaining office records in accordance with regulations and procedures.
