Help

As a Public Utilities Specialist (Account Executive), you will:

  • Serve as a Customer Account Executives and as a technical authority and expert advisor on applicable laws, policies, standards, directives, and guidelines governing business relationships for Transmission Customers.
  • Serve as the BPA primary authority and point-of-contact for the overall Transmission business relationship with assigned Transmission Customers.
  • Participate with the Manager in planning, implementing, and evaluating the entire customer service program for Transmission and Sales organization (TS).
  • Coordinate with appropriate Managers of Transmission, Power, Constituent and Tribal AEs, Transmission Rates Manager, Network Planning, Customer Service Engineering, Public Affairs, Customer Services, Billing, Metering, Load Forecasting, Finance and others in making decision on the implementation of transmission contracts and in representing BPA at forums regarding current BPA Transmission and Agency Policies, activities, including public involvement activities
  • Meet with representatives of other BPA organizations, other government agencies, or private industry to coordinate work and provide technical guidance concerning requirements.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

A qualified candidate's resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) in the Federal service.

Specialized experience negotiating and administering long-term Transmission and/or Power commercial contracts, including OATT and non-OATT and standard and non-standard agreements; and Leading internal initiatives to formulate approaches to resolve complex or unique customer requests or problems.
