Duties

Help

Maintains ITT/OAC Facility and equipment in a clean, safe, operational, and pleasing manner. Sells local and southeast area attraction tickets, reserves base picnic areas, and Hot Deals on Wheels spots. Issues base and state hunting/fishing licenses. Accepts applications for recreational badges. Assists with reservations and accepts payment for Liberty trips, Foster Creek Villas, Foster Creek RB Park, and the Marrington Stables. Maintains all phases of equipment rental and climbing wall certifications. Observes operating instructions available for the ITT/OAC to include departmental policies, regulations, and local policies set by the Flight Chief, Squadron Commander, and/or Support Group Commander. Assumes custody of change fund and attraction ticket inventory. Opens Facility for business. Collects and accounts for all fees and sales. Prepares cashier reports and all required records and reports. Oversees activities in progress and renders assistance as needed to provide customers with all programs offered. Closes facility at the end of the day. Communicates with other staff members so that procedures are uniform. Position is a position of public trust.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Qualifying Experience:
Practical knowledge of recreational programs, recreational activities, rules, and procedures is desirable, however, no experience is required. Ability to safeguard and handle cash and ticket accountability is desired. Skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment is also desirable. Must be physically fit and capable of lifting and moving up to 40 pounds. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must have a current state driver's license. Must satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquires (NACI). THIS IS A DRUG TESTING DESIGNATED POSITION. THE INCUMBENT IS SUBJECT TO RANDOM TESTING FOR DRUG USE. Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does allow for education substitution.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
