Duties

Help

  • Under the direct supervision of the Tama Hills Golf Course Manager, serves as the primary coordinator of supply and logistical requirements for Tama Hills Golf & Resort (Annex).
  • Required to manage expendable and non expendable equipment items for an off-base lodging and recreation program through stock control, requisitioning, delivery and inventory control.
  • Analyze reports of varying aspects of operations considering factors such as usage rates, inventory turnover, seasonal demands, acquisition pricing, special projects, and program changes.
  • Executes order requests and arranges shipment/delivery through varying methods for numerous sections, providing alternative purchasing options with pricing considerations, availability, durability and the degree to which items may be serviced.
  • Provides recommendations regarding required quantities and timely stock replenishment by referencing utilization records and historical data.
  • Ensures that all documentation prepared or processed abides with the regulations established by the records management program and guidelines identified by DAF Instructions.
  • Through varying procurement methods, maintains stock level minimums of all expendable supplies and amenities to ensure adequate inventory of items thereby ensuring mission accomplishment and customer satisfaction.
  • Establishes and monitors appropriate security of high value items subject to pilferage. Performs property management (NAF / Real Property) and accountability according to established policies and procedures entering work orders in the CES site as a Facility Manager.
  • Verifies property inventory and responds to inspection inquiries within the immediate organization attempting to reduce discrepancies.
  • Maintains an accurate accounting and reporting system for non expendable items in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
  • Serves as the primary administrator of a network-based inventory system capable of accounting for and transitioning resources between varying activities including the transfer of monetary value.
  • Resolves property record discrepancies through reconstruction of supply transactions and/or extensive search of supply records, and computer listings identifying errors/omissions and taking appropriate actions coordinating corrections.
  • Assists in resolving complex document control problems to maintain monthly cost of sales reflective of established budget predictions.
  • Coordinates a weekly schedule responsible for the pickup and delivery of supplies, amenities, and equipment to ensure adequate stock levels at various work sites.
  • Responsible for reviewing and reporting on the warehousing practices of expendable and non expendable backup stocks ordering to generally accepted supply warehousing and safety policies and standards.
  • As determined by staffing schedules, will occasionally be required to pick up and deliver various supplies and documents using a government vehicle from locations at Tama Hills.
  • Required to maintain a resource library including vendor product catalogs, trade manuals, details on existing property/supply items as well as information on current professional contacts capable of providing reliable service to the facility.
  • In support of duties, operates a variety of gasoline, diesel and electric powered-wheeled vehicles, such as forklifts, trucks and vans after successfully completing the necessary training to secure official licensing within the first thirty days of employment.
  • Performs related general clerical support work providing related assistance to the organization.
  • As required, operates a cash register to perform over the counter selling of a variety of merchandise, to include pre-packaged snacks, and other items sold in the retail environment.
  • Will obtain and be primary NAF Purchase card and APF GPC holder to support operations. Performs other related duties as assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Qualifying Experience:
  • Progressively responsible experience in supply or related operations which has provided a basic knowledge of supply inventory and accountability procedures; and principles and techniques involving acquisition logistics processes.
  • Experience must have been sufficiently demanding to demonstrate the ability to apply basic analytical methods and techniques to resolve supply problems and/or identify potential deviations from normal supply procedures or requirements.
  • Must be able to properly manage a government purchasing account according to established policies.
  • Knowledge and ability to perform a range of standard clerical assignments while resolving recurring problems through self-identified creative solutions.
  • Must have capable mobility or hands, arms, feet, and legs to lift and carry parts and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must possess an appropriate, valid driver's license as required by local regulations and must be able to obtain and maintain an official vehicle operator license.
  • Must have experience in receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, or other processing of cash items and cash accountability methods.
  • Condition(s) of Employment: Successful completion and favorable adjudication of applicable background investigation (Tier 1 Level) is required.
  • Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.
  • This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
