Duties

Help

Actively participates in the management of the activity or organization by performing a wide variety of clerical and administrative support duties. Serves as the central point of contact for matters related to day-to-day operations. Applies knowledge of the organization, its functions and regulations to carryout a wide variety of administrative functions related to the organization and its mission (e.g., personnel, accounting, budget, purchasing, logistics and supply, transportation, security, etc). Exercises independent judgement. Composes operating procedures and sets internal priorities to generate improvements in administrative services. An extensive knowledge of rules, operations, and practices, and judgment in locating and selecting the most appropriate guidelines is required. Performs other duties related to office automation requiring a skill in general office machines, software, and the internet/intranet.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. Must include at least one year of experience performing duties at a level which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform successfully in the position.


Work experience directly related to the duties described under the "Duties" section of this announcement to include:
1. Experience performing a wide variety of clerical and administrative support duties.
2. Experience composing operating procedures and setting internal priorities to generate improvements in administrative services.
3. Extensive knowledge of rules, operations, practices, and judgment in locating and selecting the most appropriate guidelines.
4. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.).
5. Accurately type 40 words per minute.
