PHYSICAL EFFORT: The work requires continuous use of both arms and hands and frequent standing, reaching, and light lifting.Dexterity is required to lock the barbering swivel chair, adjust the chair height to the appropriate cutting level, and regulate the swivel movements of the chair throughout the barbering processes. Objects handled such as barbering instruments, tools and appliances seldom weigh more than five (5) pounds.
WORKING CONDITIONS: The work is performed inside the Barbershop, which is properly heated, lighted, and ventilated. Duties expose incumbent to the possibility of electric shock. Exposed to hair clippings, and communicable diseases of the patrons. Required to wear a smock, wash hands thoroughly and frequently with soap and water, sanitize barbering tools, and maintain working area in accordance with established procedures.
