Summary
You will serve as a Production Shops Supervisor in the Expeditionary Maintenance Center of NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER.
Current permanent employees of BSO NV25, DoD Military Spouse Preference (MSP) eligibles, DoD Military Reserve (MR) and National Guard (NG) Technician Preference eligibles and DoD Retained Grade Preference eligibles, and VEOA eligibles.
You will coordinate operations of the shops branch with other organizational units of the division and command in order to provide for continuous flow of work, maximum utilization of the work force, and minimum delays.
You will initiate and execute personnel programs to include: recognition to include non-monetary and monetary award, beneficial suggestions, equal opportunity, professional training and growth.
You will transfer functions among various shops, recommend changes to procedures, and reassigns operation to conserve funds and carry out the assigned mission within cost and manpower constraints.
You will be responsible for shop compliance of various programs to enhance productivity, safety, and environmental compliance.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
