About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the 97th FSS Club Altus.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide support and assist the Club Manager in the economic and efficient operation of the club.

Duties

Help

Monitors operations of a club or assigned area, normally during absence of the manager and assistant manager, and normally at night or on weekends. Responsible for issue, receipt and control of cash boxes. Prepare a report of all significant occurrences during the shift. Reviews the schedule of functions that are to take place during the assigned shift and ensure they are carried out as planned by management. Ensures that only authorized personnel use the facility, and that club rules, regulations and established procedures are followed. Assures patron satisfaction by resolving complaints and other customer problems. Provides instruction and guidance to all club staff members on functions taking place during the shift. Inspects and secures facility at the end of the shift. Performs other related duties as assigned.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
1.Completes activity log, giving accurate description of events occurring during shift.
2.Performs cash handling functions within the acceptable stands established.
3.Within a reasonable time, become familiar with club rules, operational instruction etc.
4.Assist customers and employees promptly and with courtesy.
5.Safeguard the facility, following all established security procedures.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:
Experience which provides knowledge of club, restaurant, and retail operation. Must also possess experience which provides knowledge of cash handling procedures and sales operations such as receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit and use of cash accountability control methods. Ability to provide work directions to other club employees and knowledge of fire, safety, and health regulations. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
Condition(s) of Employment: Successful completion and favorable adjudication of applicable background investigation (Tier 1 Level) is required.

Education
