Duties

Help
  • Formulates and deploys the Agency's strategic and operational performance plans and goals.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve the efficiency of Supplier Quality Assurance Program policy and procedures.
  • Serves as the senior quality advisor on the Contract Technical Operations Directorate.
  • Overseas several programs such as but not limited to NASA specialized processes, QA Training Certification, Navy Plant Material, Deep Submergence System, Over and Above Process / Automated System, Overhaul, Modification, Maintenance and Repair.

Qualifications

B. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in, or related to, this position. To qualify for the NH-04 level, specialized experience must be at the NH-03 or GS-13 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including TIME-AFTER-COMPETITIVE APPOINTMENT, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:

- Constructing and refining quality assurance policies and process improvement tools.
- Utilizing various methods to investigate, analyze, and implement corrective measures for complex quality assurance challenges.



Education

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
