Qualifications

NO-03:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05/10 grade level or pay band (NO-02) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate most or all of the following duties: 1) Administering the incentive award program; 2.) Analyzing and interpreting regulatory guidance to determine impact on the program i.e., award limitations; 3.) Reviewing and advertising award nomination calls; 4.) Preparing award nomination packages for consideration/ approval; and 5.) Providing guidance to managers regarding criteria for awards and problems with processing payments or receipt of payment.

NO- 02:

Your resume must demonstrate at least 3 years of general experience that includes one year of experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-01/04) or pay band (NO-01) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. General experience shows the ability to 1) analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; 2) plan and organize work; and 3) communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

NO-03:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

or

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.M., if related or A combination of experience and education

NO-02:
  • successful completion of a four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree; OR
  • combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
