In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Qualifying Experience: Must have some experience in woodworking techniques, basic knowledge of materials and their applications. Must be able to demonstrate the basic use and operation of various woodworking power tools such as: table saw, radial saw, surface planer jointer, band saw, and chopper. Must possess skills in basic shop mathematics. Must be able to work with staff and the public in a professional manner. Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
