Duties

Help

Applicants will be reviewed and referred on the following dates: July 20, 2025, July 30, 2025, and closing on August 11, 2025. Announcement will close once position is filled. Performs a variety of general office duties for FSS Direct such as receiving telephone calls and visitors, routing and filing electronic correspondence and maintaining files. Delivers and distributes various marketing materials to Patrick AFB facilities ensuring all materials are current at all locations and the distribution area or marketing display is kept organized and free of unauthorized materials on a weekly basis. Obtains information and tracks changes for day-to-day activities, upcoming events, special programs and offers from activity managers via electronic media sources and updates the My Air Force Life app, Share Point Calendar and FSS annual events calendar accordingly. must remain knowledgeable on all FSS activities, events, programs and facilities. Delivers electronic media to all TC monitor locations on a weekly basis. Returns all outdated printed media to FSS Direct for recycling. Operates point of sale system, credit card terminal, receives payment, issues change for services and prepares cashier reports. Properly safeguards and secures funds. Oversees stockroom inventory and keeps supplies stocked and the supply room neat and easy to access. Loads, unloads, moves and stacks material. May be required to operate a government vehicle.

Qualifying Experience:
Must have responsible experience in clerical, office, cash handling, customer service ore retail sales work which demonstrates the
ability to satisfactory perform the duties of the position. Must have knowledge of proper cash handling procedures and the ability to resolve common arithmetic problems when receiving payment from customers. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently and be able to communicate effectively with patrons, staff and management. Must possess skill in dealing with the public. A certain degree of manual and techical skills are required to use equipment. Supervisor or staff may provide specif instructions for new tasks, after which incumbent may independently complete duties. Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds. May be
required to work an uncommon tour of duty. Must possess a valid Driver's License. Must successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). This is a drug testing designated position, the incumbent is subject to random testing for drugs.

Education

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
