Duties

Help
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance for a variety of acquisition and planning duties; civil management and disposal activities and functions; or civil and military leasing programs within the real estate boundaries of Savannah District.
  • Provide independent technical review for real estate documents prepared by team and provides oversight and direction in the preparation of those documents.
  • Review Congressional inquiries and prepare appropriate reports and replies thereto
  • Coordinate the team's efforts with other teams within the District.

Qualifications

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialist Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing major land acquisitions or out granting actions for military and civil lands; managing projects with a greater scope and effect which involve acquisition of multiple ownership tracts of land; working disposals, land exchanges, or major leases involving extensive or sensitive negotiations. This definition of specialized experience must be equivalent to the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
