The Screen-out for this position is performing the following tasks:
1) Collecting, processing, and packaging hazardous wastes for temporary storage and disposal; 2) Operating manual and power lifting devices and motor vehicles to pick up, transport and store industrial waste or other types of hazardous waste; 3) Verifying identification labels are accurate with the correct information such as origin number, waste information, dates and type of waste; 4) Separating, combining and transporting hazardous chemicals and substances for the department; 5) Examining hazardous waste containers at generation sites for leakage and other indications of deterioration; and 6) Operating a database for processing, storing and shipping requirements.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

Additional information
This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
This position can require rotating shift work.
