Summary
You will serve as a Materials Handler in the Materials Management Division of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR PEARL HARBOR (647th Logistics Readiness Squadron, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam.
Current permanent employees and DoD Military Spouse Preference (MSP) eligibles, DoD Military Reserve (MR) and National Guard (NG) Technician Preference eligibles and DoD Retained Grade Preference eligibles.
You will receive, issue, handle, segregate, store, stow, inventory, and document the movement and storage of supplies, equipment, or materials including Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT), and Firearms, in accordance with prescribed regulations.
You will receive, store, issue, stage, and maintain accountability of small arms and other materials
You will ensure that all transactions are properly documented in an automated database
You will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
You will carry a loaded sidearm while handling small arms and weapons or working in the warehouse
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
