About the Position: Utilizing a highly developed knowledge of real estate principles, practices, markets, and values, the position serves as the Chief of Inleasing Branch, Real Estate Division, with the responsibility for the acquisition of real property throughout the Louisville District area of responsibility, to include Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. Provides Acquisition support in both personnel and technical reach back for all inleasing missions.

Help
  • Plans, formulates, and administers Real Estate Inleasing Program to meet needs of District’s varied civil works and military programs.
  • Provides support for the Military and Civil Works Inleasing programs and support for other missions in the District.
  • Provides oversight for the District Joint Recruiting Facilities Program.
  • Oversees the Louisville District’s Army and Navy Family Housing Program.
  • Monitors progress of leasing work for projects and activities to ensure schedules are met.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Overseeing a civil and military real estate program; 2) Developing and executing a budget for a real estate program; and 3) Supervising or managing a team of real estate employees. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
