As a Senior Program Analyst (Systems Analysis) GS-0343-13, your typical work assignments may include:
Providing consultation services to the modernization development team and the customer community, advising on legacy system failures, technical debt, and prioritization of modernization efforts.
Gathering requirements and analyzing data, developing recommendations for resolving system inefficiencies, and preparing detailed statistical reports to track progress and identify areas for further enhancement.
Collaborating with officials from other organizational components within the agency to identify system deficiencies and recommend process improvements for legacy or modernized case management systems.
Developing guidelines, requirements, and training documentation to ensure that end-user operational guides are kept up to date.
Participating in the development and deployment of new systems or system updates, including performing system testing to ensure that all requirements are met, and programming deficiencies are eliminated.

Specialized Experience
Applicant must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of a Senior Program Analyst (Systems Analyst) at the GS-13 grade level.
Specialized experience includes:
Experience analyzing data and systems to ensure efficient operation and functionality; and
Experience developing programs and strategies to support software transitions; and
Experience recommending solutions of case management system efforts.

Time-in-Grade Requirement
All current and former Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year of experience at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent grade level of federal service is required to qualify for the GS-13 grade level.
