The area of consideration for this vacancy is current employees of the Hale Koa Hotel.
Provides a full range of storekeeping services involving quality control inspection, receipt, storage and issuance of a variety of perishable foodstuffs for all hotel kitchen operations. Receives incoming shipments of food, some of which have been reviewed by the hotel warehouse staff. Inventories and orders all direct issue items such as produce, dairy products, breads, etc. Completes receiving documents and moves to storage areas. Identifies and rotates stock ensuring special storage requirements have been met. Issues materials in accordance with established procedures. Verifies inventory and shipping documents, independently prepares shipping documents and related reports. May operate a forklift in storing and rotating stock.
1. Minimum six months of direct work experience in warehouse operations
2. Basic computer skills
3. Possess or are able to obtain within 6 months of hire a valid driver's license.
