Duties

Help
  • Performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties in support of the operation.
  • Applies knowledge of the organization, its functions and regulations to carry out a wide variety of administrative functions (e.g. personnel, accounting, budget,, purchasing, logistics and supply,transportation, security, etc.).
  • Receives telephone calls and visitors, provides required information from own knowledge or office files or refers callers to appropriate person. Follows up as required. Types various correspondence and reports.
  • Tabulates statistical data into final format. Gathers data and documentation for special projects and prepares briefing support materials. Establishes, maintains or controls files and logs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Must be able to work during the hours of operations to include nights, weekends, holidays, and events.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements are:

  • Basic computer and math skills, and clerical and administrative work experience which indicates the ability to perform the duties as described above.
  • Must be able to type 40 words per minute.
  • Must be highly skilled in written and verbal communication.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows,Word, Excel, and other software as required.

Applicants meeting the following will be considered Highly Preferred:
  • Experience using electronic payroll or timekeeping systems (Kronos, ADP or other software used to track employee hours and pay).
  • Experience using employee or task management software (Workday, PeopleSoft, Google Workspace, or other internal systems used to manage personnel actions, schedules, or workflow).

PCS Costs
  • Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.

Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials
  • This is a pay-banded position.
  • Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
  • Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
Incentives and Bonuses
  • Incentives will not be paid.
