This position is in the Wyoming Army National Guard's Joint Forces Headquarters (JFHQ), Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics (DCSLOG/G4) Directorate and serves as G4 Senior Enlisted Advisor. Its purpose is to provide logistics guidance and support to units, organizations and activities through the management of logistics activities. Responsible for providing supervision for Plans and Policy, Food Service, Defense Movement, Sustainment Automation Support Management Office (SASMO), Command Property Management, Aerial Delivery Logistics Facilities (ADLF) and Supply and Services

1. Directs the development of the logistics support plan and guidance for units, organizations and activities in support of federal and state missions to integrate the following command logistic functions; plans, operations, policies, SASMO equipment on hand readiness, command property management, command supply discipline program, supply excellence program, DoD National Transportation Association Award Program, food service.

2. Evaluates logistics data and requirements from JFHQ staff, units, USPFO, NGB and other organizations to direct development and implementation of logistic support plans, policies, operations and other actions to support federal and state missions.

3. Performs a full range of supervisory functions. Implements accepted provisions of personnel management such as equal employment, merit promotion, career development, performance appraisals, employee counseling, incentive awards and position management.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:


Must submit IPPS-A STP (or ERB) with application.


Provide last three NCOER, Performance appraisals or Letter of Recommendation in lieu of three.


Must meet minimum/specialized experience req. for position and grade level.
Must possess or be able to obtain/maintain a T3/SECRET security clearance.
May be required to successfully complete a trial/probationary period.
Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation.

Recruitment/Relocation Incentive MAY BE authorized, if eligible. Subject to funding and TAG approval.


PCS is not authorized in lieu of incentives.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT & NOTES:
Technicians are paid through Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer (DD/EFT).
Military Technicians are ineligible for military enlistment, retention, and student loan repayment bonuses. Acceptance of a Technician position over 180 days will result in suspension or termination of these military incentives. Military Technicians in the excepted service will wear the appropriate uniform while performing as a technician.

1. Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance of the position.
2. Position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.
3. Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.
4. Occasionally required to work other than normal duty hours; overtime may be required.
5. Duties and responsibilities may significantly impact the environment. Responsible to maintain awareness of environmental responsibilities as dictated by legal and regulatory requirements, organization, and its changing mission.

AREAS OF CONSIDERATION:
Primary consideration will be made from Areas 1, 2 and 4.

Area 1: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming Army National Guard employees assigned to the DCSLOG/G4.
Area 2: All permanent and indefinite T32 Dual Status technicians employed within the Wyoming Army National Guard.
Area 4: All current soldiers of the Wyoming Army National Guard.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess experience, education, or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Must possess at least 1-year specialized experience, education or training which includes identifying activities involving logistical support operations; experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan; experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan; and experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions.

NOTE: Minimum Requirements and Specialized Experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. Applicants must provide from (e.g. 02/2015 - 03/2017 or Feb 2017 - Mar 2017) dates and hours worked per week with description of your specialized experience on the resume.

MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidates will be required to be in a compatible military grade and assignment prior to the effective date of placement.
