Help

Manage a group with a variety of occupations and subordinate supervisors.

Oversee, guide, manage, and integrate supply chain operations across the organization.

Plan and coordinate fiscal, acquisition, clinical, and administrative operations.

Establish, monitor, and manage the performance and measurement of logistics functions for all aspects of the supply chain.

Conduct logistics audits, compliance reviews, and program efficiency and effectiveness reviews.

Manage all activities involved in the supply chain management to include sourcing, procurement, and logistics management activities.

Responsible for linking major business functions and processes within the organization into a cohesive and high performing business model.

Forecast planning and budget execution for supplies, subsistence, durable medical equipment, medical gases, expendable and non-expendable capital equipment, inventory management, warehouse operations, transportation, and distribution.

Coordinate support, answer questions, resolve logistical problems, and ensure subordinate staff address equipment, supply, and service requirements.

Lead and participate in regular meetings to ensure logistics needs and requirements are being met.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM PDT.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement, 06/20/2025.

Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-13 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-12. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade. Note: Time-In-Grade requirements also apply to former Federal employees applying for reinstatement as well as current employees applying for Veterans Employment Opportunities Act of 1998 (VEOA) appointment.



You may qualify based on your experience as described below:

  • Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level or pay band in the Federal service that includes performing the following duties: manage a group with a variety of occupations and subordinate supervisors; serve as a senior supply chain management supervisor and responsible for the oversight, management, guidance, and integration of logistical requirements and supply chain operations to ensure organizational needs are met; forecast planning and budget execution for supplies, subsistence, durable medical equipment, medical gases, expendable and non-expendable capital equipment, inventory management, warehouse operations, transportation, and distribution; manage fiscal, acquisition, clinical, and administrative operations; establish the performance and measurement of logistics functions for all aspects of the supply chain; conduct logistics audits to evaluate compliance reviews and program efficiency and effectiveness reviews; manage all activities involved in the supply chain management to include sourcing, procurement, and logistics management activities; link major business functions and processes within the organization into a cohesive and high performing business model; coordinate support, answer questions, resolve logistical problems, and ensure subordinate staff address equipment, supply, and service requirements; and lead regular meetings to ensure logistics needs and requirements are being met.

Note: A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. Applicants wishing to receive credit for such experience must indicate clearly the nature of their duties and responsibilities in each position and the number of hours a week spent in such employment.

Physical Requirements: The work is primarily sedentary, although some slight physical effort may be required such as some walking, standing, bending, or carrying of light items. Light lifting, under 15 pounds; Light carrying, under 15 pounds; Reaching above shoulder; Use of fingers; Walking 1 hour; Standing 1 hour; Repeated bending; Hearing (aid permitted); Use of computers.

Work Conditions: The work is performed in an office setting with adequate lighting and other facilities with no unusual health hazards. The incumbent observes normal safety precautions. Work may be conducted outside and inside. Working closely with others and alone. Work may protracted or irregular hours of work.

Receiving Service Credit or Earning Annual (Vacation) Leave: Federal Employees earn annual leave at a rate (4, 6 or 8 hours per pay period) which is based on the number of years they have served as a Federal employee.
