The area of consideration for this position is CAT 1 (Areas 1-3) (NCANG). Application will only be accepted from current military members of the North Carolina Air National Guard.
As a INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST, GS-0132-11, you will serve as the expert intelligence analyst for the commander and staff on all intelligence matters, including intelligence processes, support requirements, technical aspects of weapons systems, and terrorist operational methods; assure Intelligence function maintains a capability to provide timely and accurate operational intelligence support and fully trained intelligence personnel; gain and maintain Global Situational Awareness (GSA) in order to quickly and accurately advise commanders/decision-makers on possible enemy courses of action; research, evaluate, integrate, and analyze all-source data in the preparation of in-depth intelligence analytical products; present and defend intelligence positions to a variety of audiences; develop and oversee execution of Internal Intelligence Training Program; develop and direct the External Intelligence Training Program; provide training assistance to other agencies, functional areas, or organizations; plan, organize, establish, and manage methodology for deployment and conduct of intelligence operations during contingency operations; prepare and develop finished intelligence inputs for unit exercise scenarios, analytical studies, and war games; oversee and establish procedures for maintenance of intelligence publications reference library; provide in-depth research and analysis of Force Protection situation at home station and deployed locations; prepare and manage budgeting of fiscal and personnel resources for intelligence function; serve as Senior Intelligence Officer (SIO) of the organization and exercise overall oversight of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs.
Military Grades: Enlisted (SrA/E4 to MSgt/E7)
Minimum Requirements: Experience, education, or training which demonstrates administrative, professional, investigative, or technical work requiring the ability to deal effectively with others, to collect, evaluate and organize pertinent facts. Experience preparing clear and concise written reports.
Specialized Experience: Must have at least 36 months experience, education or training developing and recommending policy, organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of intelligence operations. Experience in administrative, investigative, or technical work which required the applicant to deal effectively with others. Experience collecting, evaluating and organizing pertinent facts and to analyze and prepare clear and concise reports.
