This position is open to current military members of the Active-Duty Army/Air Force, Army/Air Force Reserves and Army/Air National Guard (to include the Wisconsin Army/Air National Guard) that are eligible to enlist in the Wisconsin Army/Air National Guard.
As a SUPERVISORY JOINT OPERATIONS CENTER TECHNICIAN - Title 32, GS-0301-10, you will effectively manage, direct and oversee the operation of the Joint Operations Center processes. Coordinates as necessary with all applicable base agencies, higher headquarters major commands, Federal, state, and local agencies. Employee makes assignments, implements mission changes, ensures the work of the joint operations center is carried out in an efficient and timely manner, and oversees all command and control training programs. Serves as the joint operations center subject matter expert for all joint operation activities.

MILITARY REQUIREMENTS:
Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. Conditions of Employment:
Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience: Completion of courses such as the Officer Advanced Course, Squadron Officer School, Command and Staff College, Air and Army War College, National Security Management Course and others of comparable level will be credited at the rate of 1 month of education for 2 months of specialized experience.
*You must submit your proof of course completion or transcipts in order to substitute education for specialized experience.*
