Duties to include but not limited to the following:
Starts, regulates, and stops the various items of air handling equipment for central switches or from decentralized switches in fan or equipment rooms.
Troubleshooting unusual malfunctions in advanced equipment and systems.
Maintains an accurate and complete log of issues and events during his tour and communicating issues needing further attention to the appropriate shop.
Demonstrates knowledge of standard plumbing methods and techniques. Replace or repair plumbing issues.
Demonstrates knowledge of materials, tools, install, maintenance, for water air steam, gas, and sewage.
Replace or repair electrical fixtures or controls.
Demonstrates knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, installation, uses, repair, and preventive maintenance.
Demonstrates knowledge of the materials, methods, systems, and the tools used to construct objects, structures, and buildings.

The incumbent may work from ladders on scaffolding or mechanical lifting devices. When operating equipment the worker may be under a great deal of strain from constant reaching, bending, turning and moving of hands, arms, feet, legs, and by the vibration and jerking of equipment. The incumbent, carries, lifts, and handles parts and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and may occasionally exceed 50 pounds. Physical exertion is sometimes required when handling heavy and bulky materials such as sheets of plywood or other building materials.
