II. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Application and Database Manager is accountable to Business and Technology Management for end-to-end application scoping, planning, implementation and postimplementation maintenance and support. The incumbent oversees formal performance testing process and helps manage the relationship with internal and external services vendors to ensure superior service delivery for all application core technologies.
The successful candidate will have a strong technical background around application and data management, data high-availability, and data tuning with a critical eye towards performance and uptime requirements.

Undergraduate or Graduate Education: Degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.
