To ensure the accomplishment of its mission, the GPO requires every employee to be reliable and trustworthy; this position requires a High Risk Public Trust background investigation. To meet those standards, all selected applicants must undergo and successfully complete a background for a High Risk Public Trust. This review could include financial issues such as delinquency in the payment of debts, child support and/or tax obligations, as well as criminal offenses and illegal use or possession of drugs; this process may take 6 weeks or longer. The Agency may rescind the tentative offer, if the candidate is unable to pass the background investigation.
Schedule A (Disability Appointment):

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS (TQs) MANDATORY: All applicants must submit a written narrative response to the following. You must address each TQ separately. Each TQ narratives must not exceed two (2) pages. Please give examples and explain the complexity of the knowledge possessed and the sensitivity of the issued you handled.
TQ 1: Expertise and understanding of public information products and programs. Experience in program assessments, process improvements, and implementation of new processes and technology to lead change
TQ 2: Serving as an expert, consultant, and authority in personnel management, staff relations, and strategic planning. Experience with retraining or upskilling staff as duties evolve.
You will be evaluated on the quality and extent of your total accomplishments, experience, and education (if applicable). Your application will be rated and ranked by an Executive Resources Board (ERB) Panel, using only the information submitted within the application package. Applicants who do not demonstrate in their application sufficient possession of the ECQs & TQs will be determined ineligible for further consideration.
