Serve as an emergency management program coordinator, subject matter expert and consulting authority for the organization on assigned emergency management programs and policies.
Provide continuity and background knowledge for mitigation against, preparedness for, response to and recovery from an all-hazards emergency.
Plan and conduct emergency management training and education.
Prepare exercise After Action Reports and establishes corrective action plans as part of the annual EOP review.
Incorporate the National Incident Management System and National Response Framework structures into the MTF Emergency management program.
Request and justify an annual budget to support and sustain the emergency management program.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Required to be screened for and obtain necessary immunizations/vaccinations (hepatitis, influenza, etc.), unless exempted by a licensed physician.
This position is required to work uncommon tours of duty hours such as, on-call, working either fixed or rotating shifts, evenings, weekends and/or holidays in the event of an emergency and or emergency drills.
