Duties

Help
  • You will conduct assessments on installation training utilizing online databases for tracking all Law Enforcement required training and weapons qualifications.
  • You will communicate security policies and standards for command compliance with security regulations and standards for all training requirements.
  • You will administer a training education program encompassing security drills and exercises, Region Force Protection training team member for the organization.
  • You will provide training regarding protection of government property, etc.
  • You will advise installation security officers on matters that require explanations regarding updated training requirements and Law Enforcement qualifications regulations and procedures.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Conducting assessments on all installation physical security programs to examine procedures in effect for storage, accountability, accessibility, physical security configurations, etc.; 2) Providing training on alarm procedures, badge requirements, physical security inspections, and emergency response actions; 3) Advising installation security officers on regulations and procedures; 4) Implementing solutions to identified problems associated with physical security/loss prevention; and 5) Monitoring control of government property.

Education


Master's or equivalent graduate degree;

OR

2 full years of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a master's degree;

OR

LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled;

OR

Have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
