Qualifications
Must be a responsible individual with a pleasant, courteous attitude who can communicate effectively with the public.
A neat and clean appearance required. Incumbent will need to quickly acquire a basic knowledge of the rules and practices of the equipment used. Must meet Federal Employment suitability requirements and successful completion of background investigation.
Must be at least 16 years old.
Must be able to pass a 250-yard timed swim test.
Must be able to communicate orally and in writing.
Current Lifeguard Certification from an accredited organization.
Current CPR and First Aid Certification from an accredited organization.

Salary is dependent on experience and/or education. Some positions have special requirements. Selectee may be required to complete a one (1) year probationary period.
