Lead development of new and improvements to existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), work instructions and job guides.
Seek to understand all elements of processes impacting PM-led projects and activities and look for ways these processes can be made more effective and more efficient for all parties.
Lead development of analytical tools to improve execution of non-routine projects and inform change management.
Develop and maintain workforce information and tools and assist in leveraging this information in project planning.
Design and maintain systems for organizing project files consist with DoD, Army and USACE requirements.
Provide training and guidance for information management to branch employees.
Define database functionality and design the user interface to serve project managers, team members and district leadership in both generating and aggregating project data.
Leverage knowledge of District Business Processes, other Automated Information Systems (AIS) and project management best practices to refine existing database functions and design new ones.
Document database function in work instructions and presentations to users.
In conjunction with the developer, troubleshoot database issues and questions from users.
Develop and maintain a workflow with the developer or development team for defining database software requirements, prioritizing development and review and testing of products.
Serve as project manager for multidisciplinary teams for assigned projects.
Supervise at least one full-stack developer who builds and maintains the database.
Supervise project managers of non-routine projects with multidisciplinary teams.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Temporary Duty travel up to 15% of the time.
