You will utilize radiation detection instruments to determine if objects are radioactive, or not radioactive, and report results to a qualified Technician.
You will conduct routine surveillances of worksites, identifying and documenting basic findings.
You will assemble radiation survey and sampling equipment for radiological control areas aboard ships and in the shipyard.
You will conduct radiation surveys, and air and water sampling and determine radiation and radioactivity levels and record results.
You will operate radiological control points under the direction of a fully qualified Radiological Control Technician.
