As the Deputy Director, your responsibilities will include:
Exercising strong influence in the formulation, development, and execution of business innovation program policies and activities agency-wide. Collaborating with the Business Innovation Director to accomplish Board and OED initiatives.
In partnership with the Business Innovation Director, Chief Information Security Officer, and Senior Agency Official for Privacy, administering rigorous program integrity to ensure appropriate operational security posture is maintained for information systems.
Serving as the principal advisor to the Business Innovation Director regarding office programs including setting the strategy and vision, developing business process improvements, determining capability needs, setting requirement definitions for associated software applications, establishing stakeholder adoption parameters, etc.
Making recommendations for business innovation programs, including the Enterprise Solution Modernization Program (ESM). Partnering with the Office of the Chief Information Officer and serving in a leadership role in the EMS Program Management Office in jointly planning, leading, and executing the ESMprogram.
Working alongside the Chief Data Officer in the management of data assets of the agency, including the standardization of data format, sharing of data assets, and publication of data assets following applicable law.
Supervising and managing a professional workforce and a variety of work situations maintaining a collaborative and innovative culture.
Keeping stakeholders informed of decisions and progress on the program and related policy and procedure implications. Representing the Business Innovation Director in meetings with Agency officials and at meetings with stakeholders exchanging viewpoints on key matters affecting agency operations.
Education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for executive positions.

Best Qualified candidates will be referred to an NCUA ERB interview panel for a possible interview. The ERB interview panel will make recommendations on final selections to the appointing authority.
Reference Checks: Reference checks will need to be conducted before an offer of employment for the top candidate(s) for this position. The reference checks will need to be conducted with current and former supervisors, if applicable, as a part of NCUA's selection assessment process.
