CSP is responsible for protecting NIAID data and information resources in collaboration with NIH, HHS, & government partners.
The Security Operations team investigates the impact of potential security incidents to minimize impact to NIAID systems/data. The team works with OCICB infrastructure and application teams to ensure cybersecurity tools and system components are complete and securely configured.
The Systems Risk Management team assesses the risks associated with security boundaries and works with Information Systems Security Officers to improve the NIAID cybersecurity posture. The team works with the NIH Information Security Program to authorize the use and operations of NIAID systems.
