U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.
This is a developmental position leading to the full performance level, NA-7420-03 Waiter. Employee will be non-competitively promoted to the next grade (PD# AK079) no later than six months of satisfactory performance. The employee works under closer than normal supervision until full performance level is reached. At management's request, the incumbent may be promoted to the full performance Waiter once all required training is completed, meets all regulatory and qualification requirements; and is performing the full scope of the major duties under the proper level of supervision.
Applicant may be hired at the developmental position Waiter (Trainee) NA-7420-02 or at the full performance level Waiter NA-7420-03. *Experience MUST be reflected in resume in order to be considered eligible for Waiter NA-03.*
Qualifications
To qualify for the Waiter (Trainee) NA-02:
1. Applicant must meet the state of Texas age requirements (18 years old) for the servicing of alcoholic beverages at the time of appointment.
2. Possess basic math skills necessary to compute patron bills and make change.
3. Be able to communicate effectively in English.
To qualify for the Waiter NA-03:
1. Where duties involve selling alcoholic beverages applicant must meet the state of Texas local age requirement (18 years old) for servicing of alcoholic beverages at the time of appointment.
2. Possess basic math skills necessary to compute patron bills and make change.
3. Be able to communicate effectively in English.
4. Have work experience performing the duties identified.
This job does not have an education qualification requirement.
