As the IT Specialist, you will:

For this position, specialized experience is at least one year of experience, equivalent in responsibility to the GS-13 level in the Federal service, (1) establishing a server operating system for an organization of at least 500 employees, and (2) building and administering a cloud network environment for an organization of at least 500 employees.
Other Relevant Eligibility Criteria: Must be able to climb a ladder. Requires availability for on-site support during non-business hours. Requires ability to work outdoors periodically. Requires ability to work in cramped spaces and to manipulate tools and equipment in those spaces.

1. Administration – Advanced hands-on Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Windows Servers and workstations operating systems, single-sign-on integration techniques, backup technologies, virtualization, administrative operations, and processes to develop, carry out, and report on all phases of assigned duties. Storage and Enterprise File Sharing Technologies.
2. IT Infrastructure – Knowledge of IT principles, concepts, and functions as it relates to building, operating, and maintaining backend architecture in a complex multi-cloud, hybrid Enterprise environment with heterogenous operating systems and technologies.
3. Cybersecurity – Ability to analyze, develop, and recommend cyber security solutions. Hands on experience with Cyber scanning, assessment and remediation tools (Tenable AD, Nessus, Lacework) and endpoint (servers and workstations) compliance and configuration management tools and remediation techniques. Microsoft WSUS, Ivanti and/or equivalent products. Advanced knowledge experience with Microsoft Visio and Excel.
4. Communication – Skill in both oral and written communication, for consulting, reporting, and delivering information to a technical or non-technical audience.
