The Continuity Communications Specialist provides basic program support to the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (the Board), Federal Reserve System (FRS), and other supported Financial Sector Agencies requiring secure communications with capabilities identified in OSTP/OMB Directive 16-1, as well as other policies and procedures related to communications. The incumbent provides technical assistance to the Integrated Resiliency Programs Branch on issues related to communications and communications security (COMSEC) to include secure and non-secure voice, data, and video communications systems. The scope of the duties of this position is guided by PPD-40, OSTP/OMB Directive 16-1, NSA/Central Security Service (CSS) Policy Manual 3-19, The Committee on National Security Systems Instructions 4001, 4003, 4004.1, 4005, 4006, and 4032, and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705, as well as security directives and Board policies and procedures related to communications and SCIF operations.
